We have been inundated with calls from snowmobile clubs looking for a new website. Well, maybe we haven’t been that busy, but a fair amount have come in. We know you all have upcoming meetings and now is the best time to take care of this. Once the snow flies, its too late. Come spring, we will all be sick of it and want to start thinking about the summer fun activities. So let’s try to head off some of your questions.
Q: Can I use my own club website domain?
A: Yes, just go get one if you need it at GoDaddy or a similar, reputable (and affordable registrar) for $12 and let us do the rest!
Q: Do you have an events calendar, or a way to list events?
A: Yes of course, see an example at any one of the clubs who are using it.

Q: Do you have a club email newsletter tool?
A: Several. The easiest is a simple alert that lets people know when you have updated your new club website.
Q: Can I show video and photos?
A: Yes, Youtube Embeds super easy, just copy a link into your post for sharing youtube video. We also have plugins to allow you to show your facebook and flickr albums. Just drop us a line if you want to see some samples.
Q: Why are you so cheap?
A: Because we don’t want to charge more. We could, but we’re trying to do this not exactly non profit, but not exactly for profit. We know how many stupid hot dogs clubs have to sell to come up with that extra $30-$140 a year our competitors charge, so we are making it as affordable as we can for your benefit. (Plus, we hope you will tell your friends as well)
Q: Is it hard to use?
A: No, if you can get to this page, you have all the skills you need to manage it. We have an amazingly simple “EASY MODE” that you can turn on. Once your site is setup, keeping it looking great while providing useful info to your club members are visitors is .. well, Easy.
Q: Is it hard to setup?
A: No, but it can be time consuming if you don’t do this for a living. We do, so we like to offer our setup services. $150. Covers a few hours of setup, and walking you through how to use your new site once its done. All we need to do is to get the right information from you so we can setup a great site out of the gate.
This includes:
-Logos and Trail Maps
-Descriptions about your club
-Website Goals (what you want it to do better)
-Photos or Videos (for photo albums)
-Events and Contact info for Club Officer Pages
-And Timely feedback
Q: How long does it take for you to setup our new club website?
A: 3 Hours, but how long will it take you to get us everything we need to do that (logins, photos, etc) is the bigger question! We are ready to rock!
Q: If I don’t like the layout, can you change it.
A: Revisions are included, this is a pretty laid back process. Just let us know what you don’t like all at once, and we will change it up quick.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: 60 a year for the Club Website Hosting, and $150 (optional) for a Custom Setup.
Give us a call, BEFORE the next club meeting, and we will be able to get you all the information you need. So when you sit down with the club, you guys can hammer out a plan for us. Drawing it up on a piece of paper, or giving me links of sites you want to copy is perfectly acceptable.
