In 2012-2013 we Donated around $7,500 of web services to clubs.
It’s been a busy and fun year so far!
Overall, with our reduced rates combined with donations, we have helped provide clubs with over $14,000 of our discounted services.
If we combine our info on how much we have saved these clubs switching to our services, we estimate we have saved clubs a combination of $22,000 in the last year!
We are proud to help support the sports we love, and the charities and non profit groups we deeply respect. Even if you are not a ClubHosting customer, and never intend to be, we hope you respect and appreciate our efforts for the betterment of the things we all collectively love.
How do we Calculate this?
Most clubs admit how much they have been taken by their previous service provider. Some were happy with service and needed another option, others felt swindled. One poor club told me the bill for the last few years was nearing $2,000 for a broken, inoperative club website. This was just beyond insane.
Plus we have helped many Clubs and Associations migrate from expensive – per user platforms; often saving them an average of $230 per year. Some we save as much as $1,045 per year!
Plus we just donate our services. Often we hear clubs are struggling, low use, inactive membership, and more. We often just donate services to them. Luckily, we have been blessed with the ability to do so. However, it has come at a great cost for us. Instead of selling business services, we’ve been helping clubs. It’s been very rewarding though, and it’s been a year of loving what we do!
Why? We’re paying it forward, because you all do so much for your area.
Yes, we just provide club website services – but we feel that we help our clubs be more efficient, collect more revenue from sponsors, and engage users better. We know how we are all just one part in a large machine, but if we break anywhere, the impact on the whole sport is catastrophic.
What’s the Plan Moving Forward?
Our long term goals have always been trying to get our fellow groups to get information online. Being involved in so many clubs myself, I often see lost fundraising opportunity simply because public communication wanes and pushing notices is so hard for so many groups. The general public can’t embrace and adopt the things that matter dear to us all without us telling them (and showing them) why they should.
Some have wondered why we don’t form a non profit. Time. Board of Directors, Minutes, etc. It’s just too much time!
Thank you for allowing us to service the community!
