We’ve been a little busy on our end; but this is our time of year we annually update things.
You’re probably going to be getting a few notices regularly from us as time permits. We plan on releasing a new membership to MailChimp synchronization tool in the next few days. We also are going to be at a new themes to Clubhosting’s portfolio very shortly.
Now you can import events!!
This is the coolest feature. Many clubs switch their website over to Clubhosting and have to go through the arduous process of updating 30 to 40 events.
Now everyone can upload a, separated list of events to the event calendar, and batch update all their events in one quick swoop.
You’re going to be releasing his support Arucauna shortly, but for those that have imported data in the past to any other web service, you will be able to do this without problem.
Club website bug fixes:
We fix permissions issues that causes headaches in the past with various plug-ins, primarily those that used forums, and those that use the membership software.
Club websites I have their own message boards have now had the editor and admin rolls changed so that they can properly see the bbPress settings. Anders can now create and edit topics, and Administrators can Again properly view menu options.
We also updated the default administrator permissions for membership plug-in. Now all site administrators can, by default, view and change all membership options.
It is important to note that if you’re allowing a member admin access but do not want them to access your membership table, please do not granting default administrator privileges. Instead create a membership group inside membership itself that grandson the admin permissions that you wish them to have.
Editors Can now view and export form entries from your gravity forms and polls. This is a network wide change that cannot be adjusted.
This way you can grant someone editor ask us to your website, and they can download the form entries for events. They cannot change settings of the forms themselves.
Theme questions:
ClubHosting has a lot of club website themes that work for our users. However; many more themes are out there. We’ve neglected adding them to the list simply because they all use photos. Most of our users don’t want to have to upload an image with each post. I myself will be the first to admit. It’s a pain.
However, I am curious what type of themes do you guys want us to work on? Or would you all like to stick to the simple one?
Any changes to that one? Ie. logo placement; etc?
Few of our users actively use any of the woo themes offerings; so I am not positive we will keep updating those.
