We have an article on this, but really, a key thing when trying to tackle this issue is to ask yourself how you plan on managing your snowmobile club website.
In my mind, any static information is to be made into a page. But many are used to making trail updates by editing a page.
If your plan is to design a site to be solely administered by you on a computer, then yes. Use a page.
However if you want trail updates, or club news to be
- automatically pushed to Facebook
- added by multiple people
- updated via iPhone
Then you should be using posts. The simplicity of it is there, and you don’t need to worry about over writing your posts. The biggest thing is the need to divorce yourself from having an antiquated table to display info. Unless of course you want to.
The snowmobile clubs website design is entirely up to you. Either way is easy to use.
