Every time I think of Christmas, the Chevy chase Christmas vacation theme music plays in my head.
Now I hope it’s playing in yours too.
So what did Santa bring your snowmobile club?
Snow? Coal?
If it was snow, then you have the worst ( well maybe 2nd worst compared to new years ) riders out there pounding the hell out of your trails. Maybe your own club got some riding in, but chances are you will be cleaning up after the publics use and abuse.
Kind of sounds like coal doesn’t it?
Maybe it’s time to reassess how you plan on engaging the public riders. Signs help sure, but what will make them remember you after a long hard ride (of them flying all over the trail gap hazardly).
Personally, I am a fan of shock value. Put a sign on left side saying “if you can read this, your on the wrong side. We’re not in England, jackass!”
However, maybe there are ways to make your club more memorable.
Have you considered a QR code for your snowmobile club? It could help people standing in the warming hut checking trail maps snap a pic to add your club to their Facebook, join an email list, etc. much better return on investment than a simple 6×9 sign.
Consider making some new years resolutions for your snowmobile club. Find ways to get these weekend warriors who chew up your trails active in the club. Easiest way to lure them is by keeping trail conditions up to date on your website, and please folks, make sure the design isn’t too hard on the eyes.
Oh before I forget, we’re running a holiday promo. 25 for the first year, and free, custom setup. You could get your snowmobile club a new website and have it be ready in just a few days.
Merry Christmas folks!
