Many clubs have been asking me if I have any suggestions for managing email newsletters for their snowmobile club member base. I now have an answer for them!

When I ask how they’re doing it now, many simply state they have contact lists for outlook on one members pc. That member is then responsible for sending mail.

It’s a great system for earlier times, when most of these clubs came up with it. However I see the problems and concerns with that approach.

So over this weekend I am finalizing the plugin for our Extras! Customers that will fully integrate this service into forms you have for membership, etc.

But the answer is: Mailchimp
The cost is: FREE!

With Mailchimp you can have 2,000 subscribers, and send up to 12,000 messages a month.

I recommend using this in conjunction with your blower site subscriber tools (daily emails through Clubhosting, newsletters through your Mailchimp account).
