We have recently fixed the bug that was preventing users from Editing Images on custom domain club websites. You could insert a picture, but once it was published on your club’s site, the Edit Image / Media icon (in the page editor) would bring up a blank screen.
Now it’s working properly.
One thing you may notice, is that when you are logged into your club’s website, you will see yourclubname.clubhosting.org as a URL instead of your custom domain. Do not worry, everything will work fine (we tested this). You can take a PDF/Image URL from the Media Manager, and still use it on your site. Example, if you link a JPG image on your webpage, to a PDF form, and use the PDF link provided (http://yoursite.clubhosting.org/files/etc/pdf.pdf) ; when published on your website, it will replace the yoursite.clubhosting.org part with your actual custom domain. So this will not confuse your visitors or search engine rankings.
Those using THEME MY LOGIN had bugs with custom links. We took the liberty to remove those custom links (setup by us) on everyones sites who had it active. However, if you experience login issues, please call us immediately, as well as contact Dominique (dominique@clubhosting.org) as he’s the only one around friday.
We have also tested the FACEBOOK AUTO SYNC features, and it works with custom domains using this new sitename.clubhosting.org dashboard.
Any questions, feel free to ask! Otherwise enjoy. Sorry it was broken for so long.
Special Thanks to Travis @ Faribo Sno Go club, I believe he mentioned this a while back, and we dropped the ball on our end.
