club website how to videos added

Club Website Owners (and Visitors) Rejoice!

We’ve added new help and how to videos with a primary emphasis being on Flickr in the ClubHosting.org’s Network Channel. We wanted to help club website visitors out when it comes to them sharing photos with our customer’s websites (via Flickr Group Pools) so we made a video to help them out!

How to add Photos to a Club Website’s Group Photo Album:

Plus we went ahead and demystified Flickr as much as we can. There are simple (and brief) videos showing admins how to create photosets/photostreams in Flickr, then adding the Galleries to their clubhosting website, as well as detailed explanations of self setup of the flickr app (fair warning, the setup video is about 15 minutes long – Dominique probably should have done that one).

Plus we revised Custom Setup Forms

Club Website setup is a fairly hard process, as its not a busines, but a collection of volunteers helping add ideas, and efforts. Websites (in the past) have usually been mismanaged by clubs, and that is the biggest reason they switch to clubhosting for their club website needs. Yes, we give them the best club website option, but, our setup process can be a headache for all. Trust us, for only $150, we do not wish to spend 5-8 hours on it, and have it drag on for weeks.

So we have revised the setup forms into multiple sections.

This allows us to let Customers submit what they have, as well as give us timers (internally) to complete it. Example, you submit a Custom Setup Basic Site Layout Worksheet. Dominique can get your the skeleton of your website (pages, widgets, calendars, etc) in under an hour of his time. Once you get your Content together (trail maps, photos, logos, etc), then submit the content forms.

Much easier.

One big change we want existing clubs to note..

We do offer Nameserver hosting. We advice you use our nameservers to avoid possible downtime in the Future. You still keep domain registration and ownership of your domainĀ where it’s at, but you let us handle the routing of traffic.

Bonus to this: You get free Email accounts and Email Forwarders!

Our club website customers get free Email now as part of a clubhosting club website package, so if you are paying an extra $20 for email at your registrar, Stop. Use us now (but change your nameservers over first)
